For some things it is actually good....most of the engagement farming user gets filtered out. Spamers can also be reduced.
X is actually more and more emphasising on genuine creators who are actually sharing valuable content and opinions and not the Junk. That is the difference between other platforms and X.

@D162Michele I think both points are right.....if China is thinking it to make it profitable soon then we know it is not possible at this time....we are hardly making AI profitable. If we are thinking about long term then yes it could turn out pretty great as technical debt will be reduced.

China has learnt from its mistakes again and again. There were many times few years back when China was inferior in its product design. Back then it was just starting and with determination learnt form its mistakes again and again. This was the real innovation mindset that every country or company should learn.

That actually shows moral code that all entrepreneurs should follow. Technologies should be used to solve humanity and its problems. Governments see AI just as another weapon in their arsenal.
Anthropic also made the similar decision earlier when US government wanted to donthe same.

A whole industry of veganism could collapse if people starts believing this.
