A new 28 stall V4 supercharger is on the way to Dalton, GA. This site was one of the winners from the Q4 2022 supercharger voting contest.
Address:
1510 W Walnut Avenue, Dalton, GA, 30721
Thanks @MarcoRPi1 for helping confirm this one.
@wmorrill3@DeBergo@cybertruck Can we get an option in the wheel/tire configuration to display the truck wheels without the aero caps, similar to the 3/Y?
@johnrhanger@Xil_llix@TheBTI@guardian Interesting to describe either of those companies as “leading the EV revolution” given that over half of BYD’s YTD production/deliveries have been PHEVs, which of course include a combustion engine, and that CATL does not build vehicles at all.

Ironic they use the word "narrative" when most of the initial rides were unvarnished livestreams with real-time feedback about wait times, app functionality, riding experience, pick-up, drop-off, and everything else. The result was comprehensive and unedited. Yes, opinions were shared, but with no veneer of false objectivity. Humans can consume this type of reporting and distill truth easily because the people doing the reporting don't try to hide who they are and why they're excited.
By contrast, actual "narrative" is carefully crafted when such broad material is edited down for 5-minute CNBC reports, inter-spliced with commentary from agenda-driven "experts," and adorned with polished graphics and charts.
Where the early Robotaxi invites asked, "How can I share every little detail about this to my followers?" traditional media would ask, "What story do we want to tell?" Humans are generally less capable of distilling truth from this type of reporting. The mainstream media productions are too short, too focused on specific points (fitting a narrative), and too unclear about the motivations and biases of each participant.
The crash being reported only implies that AP and/or FSD was in use at some time within 30 seconds of the accident, and the driver statement makes no mention of either being used at the time of the accident. Is there any other data suggesting that either AP or FSD was engaged immediately before or when the crash occurred?
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority ("NJTA") has chosen a sole third-party charging provider to serve the New Jersey Turnpike and is not allowing us to co-locate. As a result, NJTA requested 64 existing Supercharger stalls on the New Jersey Turnpike to not be renewed and be decommissioned. We have been preparing for 3 years for this potential outcome by building 116 stalls off the New Jersey Turnpike, ensuring no interruption for our customers. The map below outlines the existing replacement Superchargers, and Trip Planner will adjust automatically.
We offered the NJTA above-market commercial terms, including offering to build Superchargers at all New Jersey service plaza and with equipment upgrades, such as screens and NACS with CCS1 "magic docks". Tesla always advocates for more infrastructure and co-location with additional third-party charging providers. This drives down costs through optionality, and accelerates EV adoption by having sufficient capacity to shoulder peaks. We expect that ~30 times more fast-charging capacity is needed to get to full EV adoption. NJTA's decision to remove, rather than add, critical charging infrastructure is a setback for New Jersey's EV adoption goals of 100% Zero-Emission New Car Sales by 2035. It removes Turnpike access to the most reliable (99.9% uptime), least congested (<1% waiters) and cost-effective (~30% lower $/kWh) charging.
We are still willing to invest in New Jersey Turnpike sites if @NJTurnpike or @GovMurphy want to reverse this decision. Otherwise, we will continue to build out the best possible infrastructure off the Turnpike to serve @DelValTesla and the EV drivers of New Jersey.
A new Supercharger is coming very soon to Fayetteville, Georgia!!
12 stalls are actively under construction at Satterfield Marketplace on Glynn St N.
The site is located about 15 miles south of Atlanta via Georgia Highway 85.
@ACR0W@SawyerMerritt@jcchristopher@Tesla Try rebooting with both scroll wheels, or logging out/in to Spotify. Mine shows 50 per page, and I don’t see any setting that would affect this.
