@ImCollegeSoccer Yhey miss on so many recruits they need to bring in at least 11 new players every year. So the new model 28 cap will weaken programs. So they gotta adjust. The main way will just be lots more players getting cut after every season, when prior they would just stay on the team

@1Sambo3 @ImCollegeSoccer Good schools arent doing that. But the good ones are in high demand and everyone doesnt get in so kids, most are selecting from other schools. Now add finding a team you have a chance to play on. Slims choices down more. And well as an athlete I got into 5 colleges a 2.0 gpa

@1Sambo3 @ImCollegeSoccer Players pay tuition. Teams are there to help fill the classrooms and generate income for the school. Most don't actually draw money from advertising and such so they help by recruiting players to pat tuition

@BeauIgor @ImCollegeSoccer Most college players don't get full rides. Hell many of them don't even get half rides. The 1/4 scholarship with some academic money on top is super popular. So players that are on fence will accept walk on spot no cash and attend school with academic financial aid or just pay.

@ImCollegeSoccer Yeah they really can't at this point damage is done and over. Last fall and winter things where sorted and programs have adapted...many not offering anywhere near max number of scholarships so just cause they legally can give 28 full rides many schools still splitting 11 up.

@RossDellenger Hell theres kids on rosters right now that won't play next year because of all the movement down in divisions. The ncaa made a mess of this whole thing but cons there's no guarantees in any of it I dont see the lawsuit paying out. if you were good enough youd still be there.

@RossDellenger Wait if you read the article its more about a lawsuit against ncaa for all the kids that got cut that would have just been able to stay on rosters. flip side your deal is a 1 year renewable contract for your sports money and financial aid. So sucks, but thats life.

@RossDellenger Huh its kinda late colleges adjusted and moved on after last season ??! Players have been cut loose. Coaches already had those tough condos and reduced their rosters. So now what they can bulk back up to slim back down??

@CharlieWoo22190 @ImCollegeSoccer Lol they recruit the great one soph year, good ones junior year if they are still recruiting seniors that means they struggle to recruit or have some uncommits. If you are a senior and really want d2 and feel you can handle it then check out some junior colleges
