You don’t control who God puts in your path.
You do control how you treat them.
—Be kind!
You don’t control your circumstances.
You do control your responses.
—Be positive!
You don’t control the results.
You do control your effort.
—Work hard!
Focus on what you control!
@ericchurch I'm 47 and from Sneads Ferry, NC. I grew up on Alabama and George Strait. Later I fell in love with rock, grunge, R&B, and pop. But when I'm working in my Garner, NC backyard, I keep coming back to you, bro. Always the vibe I'm looking for. Keep making the good stuff!
@janefortruth I’m sure it was nothing personal. I don’t think men want to pass on riding the elevator, they are just doing what is wise or what they promised their wives - maybe because of culture, or maybe because of his own past. Either way, it’s his right, isn’t it?
@aussiedave I once heard from a tech industry leader for Oracle: “Technology cannot help you become a good or bad organization. Technology can only multiply and accelerate what you are already doing. If you are doing good it will be multiplied and accelerated. Same for the bad.”
@AndyStanley Agree. In light of your podcast in Enneagram with @ianmorgancron, as a 9 with a 1-wing, I’m hearing I have to learn to listen to my gut, ask for strategic feedback, and choose the vision/goal/decision with the most integrity, all without ignoring my instinct. Sound right?
Helped a 3rd grader find the right link to class today. And high-fived a kindergartener for finishing an assignment. And played duck duck goose. Join me next week in helping kids get through this challenging school season! https://t.co/5rf7LDTvXr
