Excellent start! Now that we have digital gold as a strategic balance sheet asset, here's 6 crypto topics that I will be looking for next:
1. Stablecoins. With the US Dollar holding ~60% market share in traditional currency markets, but ~95% market share of stablecoin markets, the US should push for aggressive stablecoin growth and adoption since it dominates this new medium. Let's grow the stablecoin circulation from the current $200B by 10x to $2T. This also creates more demand for US Treasuries and brings down interest rates. @jerallaire
2. On Chain Finance. Allow traditional financial institutions to access DeFi tools such as AAVE and Chainlink, and also permit citizens to freely use those tools on their own. @StaniKulechov@SergeyNazarov
3. Tokenized Equities. Allow companies like Coinbase to also offer their equity shares in a tokenized form that can freely move around the onchain ecosystem (including being used as onchain collateral for onchain borrowing). @brian_armstrong
4. Onchain equities markets. Explore using blockchains for traditional equities markets to capture more efficiencies and reduce errors and overhead. A good example is Hyperliquid as a high-performance limit order book exchange model as a potential Nasdaq 2.0. @HyperFND
5. Onchain prediction markets. Allow users to engage in these for more transparency around news and events. They worked well to predict the election results before nearly all other traditional news and analysts. @Polymarket
6. Tax reform. Crypto taxes are excessively difficult for any trades that are beyond the simple buy/hold/sell. For example, receiving an airdrop that required activity to earn, swapping one crypto for another crypto, and bridging a crypto asset from one chain to another chain.
