@_sysengineer Tech work is very draining. Harder than ever to keep up with the latest and greatest as one really needs to do. If I didn’t have a mortgage I would take the pay cut and go drive trucks or something where one doesn’t need to think much
@AusPoll6 Labour may very well still win on these numbers, but on the off chance the LNP and 1nation end up with enough seats to govern in coalition that is what will happen.
@heidimur Going to be interesting come November if the polls stay more or less how they are. In theory the conservative side of politics has 40-50% of the primary vote. Could result in a hung parliament with both of them running the show
I find it interesting that everybody is harping on about one nation and they’re polling two years out from the next federal election. More relevant to elections this calendar like the Victorian State election which all of a sudden has become very interesting.
@hoppers_2007@metrotrains Just short of 3 hours it took me to go from home to the office this morning. Normal commute is about 1.5h. Allowed for an extra 30-45 mins with the busses as expected, not busses that I have got. Fortunately I have an employer that tolerates one off issues like this.
Hey @metrotrains cluster with the busses on the Werribee line. Broken down express bus forced onto stopping all stations bus. Supervisor wouldn’t send a express buss to replace ffs
@AusPoll6 Interesting, inevitable in the current climate, but sustainable and broad enough to matter? Who knows at this point. Libs and nats are toast at this point. Most would loose their seats if an election was held today
@AusPoll6 With these number, if they are national and not focused in some areas, we need to be seeing 2pp with onp not libnat
Local results may vary, but we are definitely seeing a shift on the conservative side of politics
@AusPoll6 If those numbers where translated nationally ONP have a realistic chance of being the 2nd biggest group. With preferential voting probably not 2nd biggest in parliament, but you never know
@AusPoll6 Not sure I believe those. Libs remain as incompetent as ever. Labour isent all that flash either, but rather them over what will happen next time the libs get in
