This is why we can’t have reasonable discussions.
I think Lindsay Clancy was truly experiencing a psychotic episode.
I think she tried to get help many times because she knew she was deeply unwell.
I think she received abysmal psychiatric care.
And yet, she carried out a truly evil act that required premeditation and cruel resolve.
I don’t think there’s any question that she regrets it now that she can see it more clearly, but it doesn’t change the fact that her children are dead.
We must first and foremost grieve the kids and figure out what justice looks like in this case.
We can even have compassion for Lindsay‘s mental health crisis.
But we must be absolutely clear about the depravity of her actions.
Dressing up in pink in solidarity and making heart hand signals outside the courthouse is folly, and it diminishes the deaths of those children.
Free agent center Nikola Vucevic has agreed on a one-year, $3.9 million deal to return to the Orlando Magic, sources tell ESPN. Vucevic -- who started his career in Orlando as a sophomore, spent nearly nine years with the Magic and has maintained a home there since -- turned down more lucrative offers elsewhere to reunite with the franchise.
@ShamsCharania Congratulations Pelicans Fans, you are going to love Coach Mosley. Updated this meme so you guys can bookmark it, and use for the time when this makes sense.

🚨 REP. WESLEY HUNT (R-TX) just gave the PERFECT response:
Q: There won't be any black Republicans left in the House?
HUNT: "It's not relevant."
"I'm not here because I'm black."
"I am here because I am a qualified representative for Congressional District 38."
"The American people choose who they want to choose."
"I don't want to get into this game of RACE BAIT all day, every day."
"If there's 4? If there's 10? If there's NONE."
"I represent a white majority district that President Trump would have won by over 20 points, and I won by over 25 points."
"I'm being judged not by the color of my skin, but the content of my character."

@ryenarussillo Suggs is like an espresso Martini.
One, maybe two, done right can be incredible.
Three - it starts to be an absolute disaster.
The Magic have 4 or 5 every night.
We’re either barfing in the cab or at the penthouse after party.
Zero in between.
I remember when I was broke and supporting 3 kids because my ex trooned out and left us with nothing. I worked for a boss who liked Obama and I was a Tea Party Sweetheart. We ribbed each other about our politics and managed to get along. Sometimes it is best to accept that not everything is in your control. Your life is much better for it.
A man from Romania heard Zohran Mamdani’s inauguration speech in New York City and has a warning for America
He says Zohran Mamdani used the EXACT SAME words they heard before socialism crushed their country
“We will replace the fragility of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism. Famous words spoken by every communist in history.
Hi, my name is Bogdan and this is exactly how communism came to power in my country, Romania, via collectivism.
First, they confiscated private land. Then they used terror to enforce collectivism.
The regular Romanian citizens were arrested, beat up, humiliated publicly, left to rot in prison, and some even executed.
The next step for collectivism was destroying the independent farmer class.
These people were a threat to the regime because they were able to stay self-sufficient and did not rely on the state. Independence was, and still is, the biggest threat to communism. They made it in such a way that owning more than others was a crime.
Once all that happened, the communists started confiscating the food from farmers, leaving families to die.
They also confiscated the livestock raised by people. This resulted in famine, malnutrition, and the collapse of productivity.
Romania literally went from being the number one exporter of grain in Europe to chronic shortages of food. But that wasn't enough.
The communists then banned free market. No free sale of crops, no private trades, no bargaining, classic socialist failure. But collectivism wasn't just economic. It was cultural as well. In Romania, they attacked the church and religious people.
They replaced family authority with party authority, all with one goal in mind: replace faith and family with the state.
15 years later, the communists declared victory. 90% of all farmland in Romania was collectivized. Bottom line, Romanian collectivism was forced, violent, economically disastrous, morally corrupt, and designed to control, not help.
Only for today in the United States of America to be in New York City. I swear to God, some Americans are the dumbest morons on the planet.”
I asked Desmond Bane his thoughts on Jonathan Isaac’s impact and rotating role for this Magic team
“Huge. (He’s) My guy, I have little conversations with him before every single game.
That’s one of my favorite teammates I’ve ever had.
Selfless dude, brings it every single night vocally and with his energy and effort.
Super happy for him. Seems like every time he’s out there he’s making an impact. So, I’m glad he’s with us.”
