@bigmx_radio@KKeefer120 At around $10k it's hard to make the affordability case. I think a lot of vet guys like me are remembering $20 pistons, $11 ring (125 anyway), and $40 sets of fiber plates. At today's pricing is a 2 stroke cheaper to race competitively?
@chingaderra01@dbk_116@KKeefer120 Agreed, unless the SX tracks were modeled after the early 2000's tracks. I'm curious what a race mechanic thinks, which would you prefer working on?
@dbk_116 Agreed. Part of the fun of having a 2 strike is the cheap and easy maintenance compared to a 4 stroke. If need to map an ECU, I'm probably going 4 stroke. I also don't race competitively anymore so it's just about having fun at the track.
@BordenThe IDK, I had the same 5 years ago. Speaking for myself the foot is unpredictable, a lot of swelling, sometimes numb, sometimes pain, the worst is the "ghost" swelling. I'd swear the bottom of my foot was swollen, even limp, but it actually wasn't swollen.
@pulpmx So are some kids going pro too young? It seems like a lot if them are plaqued with injuries, but do well later. Ryder D as an example, he's so much better now. I don't know man, just a thought.
