🚨BREAKING! - Everton are braced for a fight to keep hold of Iliman Ndiaye after having multiple new deals rejected by Ndiaye over the course of the season
(Source - @Paddy_Boyland )
Palace sacked Hodgsen for Glasner, Bournemouth sacked O’Neil for Iraola and we are told to sit tight with Moyes. Go fuck urself Everton you gang of shithouses
Ask yourself this, with half the premier league in Europe next season. With an aggressive summer recruitment, ambition from the board we could capitalise on this and get a top 6 finish. Is the current manager the one to do that??? What in Moyes cv suggests he can??
I think it’s ok for fans to wish for more
Whether that’s West Ham or Everton
Pretty much since the appointment of Benitez, Evertonians have watched routinely dismal football
It’s not being greedy to wish that at the very least the team entertains us
The Friedkins need to use Roma as the template for Everton. They moved on from Ranieri, brought in Gasperini, backed him in the transfer market and now Roma are back in the Champions League. Ambition and decisive football decisions are needed.
This is spot on for any Everton fans wondering
Not necessarily blaming Moyes but he left us with ageing squad which needed replacing and a huge rebuild
@ASViking@tobyasky Nothing is guaranteed. All fans want to see is a plan and some ambition. I don’t see either. Too many false dawns at the club in the last 30 years.
@Kevin_1878 I think they admitted they got it wrong getting rid of di Rossi. They made an even bigger mistake appointing juric. They panicked and brought in ranieri to stabilise. He was there for less than a year and they moved on to gasperini. A sign of ambition. Can we hope for the same?
@ASViking@tobyasky He only signed a 2.5 year deal, he’s a year left. You giving him a new deal? On what basis? What are your expectations for the club and how does Moyes deliver them?
@SG_EFC@mattwill1982 Just said something similar. We’ve no style of play, no strategic plan (or so it seems) with transfers and the manager has 1 year left. Any new manager will pick up a car crash of old players or players with little experience. Need to see some form of plan from the board
Ok so Moyes stays, we sign what appears to be dads army in the summer, manager has 1 year on his contract, no style of play, what chance does a new manager have when he goes next summer? Where is the long term plan?? Interesting to see how this summer pans out, car crash incoming
@efctruth20802@wolf_flip 6 starts is a lot ? How many minutes? Did we bring him back from Preston in case he played too much? What about our £40m player? The winger we signed on loan that won two trophies last season? The fullback that’s played in Europe? That defence has been crying out for change
@efctruth20802@wolf_flip How do you get experience? Effectively had at least two games at the end of the season where he could have started some of those inexperienced players. He chose to stick with a team that was shipping goals for fun and not winning. Why would you do that?
