Karen Bass’s Deputy Mayor, Brian Williams, who oversaw the Police Department and the Fire Department, just pleaded guilty to making bomb threats at City Hall.

Brian used a Google voice number to call his city-issued cell phone. He then called the LAPD’s Chief of Staff and claimed the call came from a man who said he placed a bomb at City Hall because he was “sick of the city’s support for Israel.” The entire story was made up.

Apparently, Brian was part of Karen Bass’s “inner circle” in the city’s search for a new police chief. What other lunatics does Karen have in her inner circle?
