Shawnee Police had an officer call for emergency assistance on a vehicle stop near 62nd Terrace and Pflumm Road.

Situation is now stable as officers search the mini-van.

Shawnee Police are investigating after a child was struck by a car in the Carlyle Apartments, 7500 block of Lucille.

11-year-old being transported to Children's Mercy with non-life threatening injuries.

Reportedly happened during an argument.

The eastbound lanes of 75th Street are closed near Melrose Lane in eastern Shawnee following an injury accident.

Police, fire, and Med-Act are on scene of an injury accident at 63rd Street and Widmer Road.

Two cars involved. Two people injured at the scene. Another person reportedly walked away from the scene.

Injuries are non-life threatening.
