How to Maximize Your $SOL Returns!
If you're bullish on Solana long term like I am, don't waste it all on memes and "AI" coins. Instead set aside some SOL to work for you. Here's a quick ๐งต on the best places to earn yield on your SOL right now.
A new narrative is unfolding in front of your eyes..
A crypto app is finally getting mainstream adoption in real time..
But you keep chasing the 10th restaking LRT ponzi on the 100th L2..
While true Degens keep betting and wait for Polymarket to tokenize..
Smart contracts were supposed to change everything, werenโt they? I think everyone is realising that although there are legit use cases of smart contract L1s, the industry (excl. BTC) shouldnโt be worth $1 trillion. For it to be worth that much, there needs to be apps used by billions of people.
Seems like a lot of people are confused about @reservoir_xyz's rUSD backing. SteakRUSD here in their docs is the borrowed position of users on Morpho which cancels out the looped srUSD (in liabilities).
Basically rUSD is fully backed by USDC earning yield in Steakhouse / Smokehouse vaults on Morpho + some USDC/T-Bills.
It's fully backed bc their assets > liabilities. Backing mostly is from USDC and sUSDe. Some of USDC is earning yield in some vaults (steakUSDC / smokeUSDC). SteakRusd part is the borrowed position of users supplying srusd collateral, so that srusd shows up as liability and SteakRusd as asset.

@riddle245@Tiza4ThePeople I think that's the borrowed position on morpho. So morpho allows users to borrow rusd by supplying srusd as collateral. That borrowed rusd shows up on the asset side in their balance sheet. But yeah, the backing isn't very easy to understand.
@Route2FI It's doesn't excite the younger generation anymore. Words like decentralisation, transparency, permissionless, trustless used to mean something. Now we just hope we can dump before others.
A friend of mine, hardcore crypto OG since 2016.
All-in guy with 99% of his net worth in crypto.
Asked him today how much in crypto he's still holding.
"Less than 20%."
Cashed out most last year + early this year.
Vitalik was right. OGs are jaded.
And it's not just Ethereum that needs young blood, but the entire crypto space.

Agree! And everyone knows the playbook now. Founder raises from VCs at high valuation, KOLs get paid to promote, airdrop farmers bring liquidity. Then team tries hard for tier 1 CEX listing so that they can use retail as exit liquidity. Everyone makes money except retail. No innovation, only extraction!
2 of my fav stable farms since a few weeks are on Euler:
โซ๏ธPT-wstkscUSD - USDC Loop: 46% APY (Sonic)
โซ๏ธsUSDS - USDC Loop: 39% APY (Ethereum)
All these APYs are also not dependent on points or Euler incentives. You get what you see. Also really helpful tip from Stephen on how to get into a position on Euler w/o losing on fees/slippage๐
Every single DeFi strategist NEEDS to know how to "cheat loop."
If you don't know about cheat looping, today's your lucky day.
This is how you enter a fully leveraged position with just one deposit, one borrow, and NO SWAPPING, NO SLIPPAGE, NO PRICE IMPACT.
@ruggedpikachu One of my favorite strategies on Polymarket is to search for 90+% probability events and get the yield. Obviously you'll be risking your principal, so need to be very careful which one to select.
Good guide for Polymarket. Surprised that it's still quite easy to rank here. I was around 350 by vol and just under 1k by profit few months ago. Checked again today and have lost less than 100 spots.
I have posted about Polymarket and how they could print an insanely large airdrop a couple times before. Here are 3 strategies / markets that you can use to farm $POLY right now
1) Delta neutral
I like to use short-term markets for this one. Because i think letting markets resolve by themselves is more organic than simply buying/selling all the time to wash trade some volume.
The strategy is simple. Take a look at the example market below. I buy 10$ worth of YES which wins me 176$. So I login to my second account and place a 176$ bet on NO. Now it doesn't matter whether the market resolves to yes or no, i always win my initial back.
I suggest putting a couple more dollars on the outcome you prefer, so as to not have the exact same numbers on both sides. (Sybil risk)
2) Conditional resolving
Bitcoin cannot reach $1M before it reaches $200k right? So why not bet a NO on 1M, 250k, 200k, 150k while betting YES on 110-130k?
You cannot exactly do this delta neutral so it involves some top guessing. Thats why it has its own category. Nevertheless i like this strategy because it doesnt require two accounts and i think you have a fairly good chance of calling it right.
You can do the same thing to the downside as well btw. For example buying a NO on 20k but a YES on 50k.
3) Hedging
I have personally bet on a US recession earlier this year as a hedge for my portfolio.
The reasoning being if we get a recession, then my portfolio tanks but i get a nice payout from polymarket. And if we dont get a recession i loose my collateral, but then my portfolio will moon.
Currently that bet is up 60% as recession chances have been spiking lately following some reports on a US Q1 GDP contraction.
You can also do this with other markets as well. For example betting on a war. If winnie pooh invades taiwan that would tank our portfolios. So you could buy a couple YES to hedge that risk.
Hope that guide helps! If you have any questions or other strategies feel free to share below
@emoelmo_11 Aave weeth-eth loops, Super ETH vault and Pendle are all good to park ETH. You can also tETH-ETH loop on Astrol or Save on Eclipse and farm 2-in-1 airdrops.
