@annehaines [2/2] ...The sky above was a "dome of darkness" surrounding the eclipsed sun, while closer to the ground and off in the distance, we saw a great "ring" of sunrise/sunset-type sunlight coming from all of the surrounding areas not in the path of totality. Simply amazing/beautiful.
