@TheBeeDuke A1: I have taken over the kitchen table. I have alarms set, reminders, sticky notes. My only problem is finding a quiet place when my children are up. They find me wherever I go! 😂#valchat
@TheBeeDuke A4: We have started devotions again as a family. We were so busy before. I have done some cleaning out!!! And I have been able to work with my youngest on his behavior. 😉#valchat
@TheBeeDuke A2: Not to take my own child’s word that they have done their work. With students, not to assume that the parents can sit and help their child like they need. #valchat
@TheBeeDuke A3: I still struggling with this. With three kids of my own, I have to work when I can. Sometimes it’s late, sometimes early, sometimes on weekends. #valchat
@JustDoLit A3: Keep it simple for elementary, we use a fun video clips, and keep them connected to each other through @Seesaw. They aren’t afraid of technology. They love sharing things they’ve learned with us and each other. #Valchat
@JustDoLit Encouraging text messages. Several, offering to help them. Sending out certificates the whole class earns to encourage them to be a part. #valchat
I’ve lived long enough to know what I want out of life. My aim is to live & love in imitation of Jesus. Though I daily fail, I’m resolute in the pursuit. It is not that I do not care what you think or what that looks like to you. It’s that I care incomparably more what He thinks.
@moffatt_teach Yes! Grateful for the workshops we have had. I’m value the things my students already knew how to do independently. This has made it easier on them learning from home. #valchat
