Real-world understandable systems of measurement that are conceptually accessible to people are democratic too. As someone who works with golden proportion a lot, decimal/metric is awful … just makes a lot of irrational numbers and a mess, computers complain. It’s good to know other systems that might be a better fit for solving problems - cubits and Euclid excel for golden stuff, makes nasty calculations simple and intuitive.
