So would only really need to get around £10m for him to break even on him for PSR. (Ignoring the £29.2m amortised already in the last 2 yrs)

The wages of the players coming in will offset some of the players leaving. But you’d expect them to earn less. So it would cover some of the loss of revenue.
As would the Alvaro fernandes sell on clause.
So it’s not all doom and gloom

Without him this season we’d have been relegated and wouldn’t have got to the final.

Which will increase our loss over the last 3 years dramatically. So the sales of rashford and garnacho may only just cover the loss of revenue

The bigger issue is the PNL. To be complaint we have to make a loss of less than £105m over the last 3 years, which we were only a few m’s short of last time.

Meaning if we sign £400m worth of players on 5 year contracts. We would recognise a cost of £80m per year for 5 years.
Meaning £42.5m profit on PSR this year.
But an £80m loss each year for the 4 years after
