Q. You've been teaching students for a long time. Is there a student who particularly stands out in your memory?

🌊: ZEROBASEONE's Sung Hanbin. He's a friend who came to find me himself during his trainee days because he wanted to take my classes. Seeing him attend classes even amidst his busy schedule made me realize just how much he truly loves dancing. One day, an agency contacted me asking for personal training saying they had a trainee who was a huge fan of mine. At first, I said it would be difficult because it overlapped with my existing class schedule, but when I asked who it was, it turned out to be Hanbin. I immediately changed my mind and said I'd do it if it was him.

Q. How did you feel seeing a student who has grown so much that you're now working together on 'SDF'?

🌊: Hanbin is a friend who has so many strengths. As a director, I really want to work on a project that properly highlights his best qualities. I actually wanted to participate in the performance directing for his solo album this time as well, but I couldn't join because it overlapped with the 'SDF' schedule. I was really bummed about it.
