@LockedonLAC Buy or sell, the depth of the Chargers current 90 man roster will allow them to acquire at least 2 extra late round draft picks through late preseason trades before rosters are cut to 53.

@danielrpopper Should Bolts try to find a more proven QB2? Or am I underappreciating what Lance will be with MM? (Realistic to think 2 wins may separate winning the division and missing the playoffs, and Bolts are making other moves knowing their SB window is now. )

@DrotalkSD I hope 10 plays all of every game. I just think if "the window is now" & its an "all in" year, then that includes giving the team the best chance to win even if Justin misses 1 or 2 games or has to come out of a game for a few series.

@LockedonLAC Buy/Sell? With the Bolts taking a Win Now approach in all other areas, the 5th hardest AFC schedule, & potentially just 2 wins separating winning the west from missing the playoffs, it's a mistake to go into this season with Trey Lance at QB2 instead of a proven vet.

@LockedonLAC Buy or sell, the Chargers are better off with Ladd as WR1 (paying him as such when the time comes) & investing elsewhere as needed. Theyshould resist any temptations to trade for, draft, or sign a flashier, more conventional option to be their top WR for at least the nex 3-5 yrs.

@LockedonLAC Bolts prob don't makeplayoffs if JH doesnt start at least 13 games but do you think they should sign a more expensive journeyman vet as QB2 whose experience can intangibly help 10 in the QB room or go cheap & young hoping to develop (or fix) someone to be their long term QB2?

@LockedonLAC Buy or Sell: McDaniel spends at least two seasons with Bolts as OC not because Chargers fail but because this year's coaching carousel makes it unlikely there will be attractive HC openings for 2027. (Who? Maybe CIN or Ind at best? Somehow PHL??)

@alexinsdorf99 Agree & understand McDaniel's pov... He is taking the Chargers OC job with Herbert hoping to secure a HC job with a QB like Allen or a franchise like Steelers.

@ChargersWin2026 It's weird messaging especially after withdrawing from consideration for other HC jobs. Tempting to feel he thinks Herbert is great but Allen is better; however, I think it's more Bills HC is the kind of job he'd be hoping to get after working with Herbert & it's open now.
