Hi @socialhistorycurator we have recently convened a regional meeting to discuss ideas to promote more creative health opportunities for NE children and young people and have sent our ideas to the new NE Combined Authority.
@louisemcaw_w giving some closing remarks on our two online days - sharing workloads, making time, reflecting our aims in our collections database terminology, playing to strengths / acknowledging weaknesses, validating & representing visitors' and staff's emotions ... #SHCG2024
Collective grief can be a response to war, pandemic, national figures (Princess Diana, the Queen), national disaster. Museum responses to it driven by contributors not curators can explode and provide validation through tangible outputs like concerts or web content. #SHCG2024

Transport costs, varying provision of heritage and museum sites, #CostOfLiving crisis and cut school and arts budgets all militate against us at the moment. #SHCG2024
