❗️An 🇺🇸American, Charles Wayne Zimmerman (58 years old, U.S. Navy veteran), spent nearly a year sailing on his own yacht from North Carolina to Russia to meet a girl from 🇷🇺Kazan whom he had met online.
During a customs inspection in the port of Sochi, a rifle and ammunition were found on board. Zimmerman explained that the weapon was for self-defense, but the court (Sochi, Krasnodar Krai) found him guilty of illegally transporting weapons across the border and sentenced him to 5 years in a general-regime penal colony.
Great breakdown of how (likely) Russian bots are boosting pro-Russian dissenting voices like Nick Fuentes. His posts' early engagement is off the charts!
As I've been saying since 2016 - Russia primarily targets dissenting voices: https://t.co/lVCFGyshyJ
🧵 THREAD: NCRI's Analysis: How Abuse of 𝕏's Platform boosted Nick Fuentes
A few days ago, @elonmusk got "ratioed" by Nick Fuentes.
The air quotes are intentional. There was nothing organic about the ratio.
This morning, Network Contagion Research Institute (@ncri_io) released a forensic breakdown of how Nick Fuentes' sudden rise over the past year was driven by synthetic amplification, foreign engagement clusters, and coordinated raid behavior.
I read the full report and asked NCRI some clarifying questions about their methodology. The findings are staggering.
As always, patience as I pull this thread together. 👇
There's nothing more absurd than the US & Russia criticizing Europe on free speech. In 2025, European states dominated the World Press Freedom Index: 13 of the top spots and 21 out of the top 30 were European.
The US ranked just #57, between Belize and Gabon, and Russia at #162.
Reporter: Why did the president commute the sentence of a private equity executive, he served 12 days out of a seven-year sentence which prosecution said he defrauded $1.6 billion with thousands of victims, including veterans, farmers, teachers, why was he pardoned?
Leavitt: This is another example that has been brought to the president's attention of a weaponization of justice from the previous administration and therefore he signed this commutation
It's funny how, especially now on anniversary of the start of Winter War, russian trolls are rushing to hype the USSR's "victory" over Finland.
Country of 170 million failed to conquer a neutral country of less than 4 million people.
We survived. We are still here. We won.

On this day in 1991, Ukrainians overwhelmingly voted for independence in a nationwide referendum. 92% of Ukrainians backed independence, including majorities in every single region of the country.
Imagine China occupying California, Nevada, Arizona, and Oregon and then the EU telling America: “Make a deal with the occupier or we won’t support you.”
Absurd, right? No country would accept that.
Yet this is exactly what Ukraine is being told today.
And let’s not forget: Ukraine gave up the world’s third largest nuclear arsenal under U.S. security guarantees. They trusted America.
Now Ukraine being pushed to surrender their land to the same aggressor that invaded them.
This isn’t “peacemaking.” This is betrayal.

The amount of territory Russia took from China is as big as all US territory east of the Mississippi river.
Awesome lecture - worth your time to watch:

🧵1: Google updated maps of Mariupol, the images are horrifying.
For over 3 years russian occupiers have closed off the city. war crimes covered up, evidence erased.
In the outskirts; terrifying amounts of rapidly growing unmarked mass graves!

📹 A Russian woman shared that she was forcibly moved from Berdsk, Russia's Novosibirsk region, to Russian-occupied Berdiansk and given about $95 to live there.
Russians are abducting Ukrainian children from the occupied territories and taking them deep into Russia, while also resettling Ukrainians’ cities with Russians. Apartments and houses of killed or driven out Ukrainians are now settled by Russians.
Two days ago, Putin endorsed the idea of granting one hectare of occupied Ukrainian land free of charge to participants of the "special military operation" in the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic", "Luhansk People's Republic", Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
This tactic of deportations and resettlements was widely used by the Soviet Union.
This is Russian culture.
Filthy Russian savages now dispersing petal mines by drone in residential neighborhoods where children and other civilians will pick them up.
Russians - i'ts just how they go through life.
Spring always reminds me of impressionism. So I've prepared a thread for you about amazing 🇺🇦 impressionist – Oleksandr Murashko. Enjoy, read, share 🌸🌷

Another atrocity, as a Russian murders a civilian woman in broad daylight in the town of Rodynske, Donetsk.
This is the future Trump aims to inflict on millions more by granting Putin entire regions of Ukraine.
Massacres, everywhere they go.
