Kang Hyewon's fans have always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with 8D. When she first started her solo career after IZ*ONE, things looked promising. She had good promotions, some fun variety content, and her presence was felt. But around 2022, when she started focusing more on acting, things started to change. Promotions slowed down, her social media wasn’t updated regularly, and it often felt like she was being put on the back burner. It was frustrating for fans who just wanted to see her shine.

That said, we can’t ignore the fact that 8D did help her land some solid acting roles. She did well in those dramas, showed real growth, and even picked up a few awards along the way. So while the promotion side could’ve been better, her progress as an actress was definitely something to be proud of.

Now that she’s moved to Peace Entertainment, it feels like a fresh start. As fans, we’re really hoping this means better support, more consistent updates, and more chances for her to do what she loves. We just want to see her happy, doing well, and getting the recognition she deserves. Here’s to a new chapter and hopefully brighter days ahead for Hyewon! 💫🩵
