I’ve taken losses on cards. But I’m up (unrealized gain) if you look at my whole portfolio since I started collecting.

Take the L if you need to, and continue to make informed, calculated bets. Put in the daily work for long term wins 🤝

@SevendooCards I wanted to get some Ionescu cards but her cards quickly went up in rise. And then came Caitlin Clark and big money was already on her top 25 cards and while these cards are not near where NBA cards are, I am cautious how much room remain for accelerated growth

I entered the hobby with basketball cards. I quickly realized that to get blue chip basketball cards, you needed 6 figure bankroll to fire.

Another reason why I like non big 3 cards like soccer, F1, tennis, and such. You don’t need 6 figures to buy top tier cards and still win.
