I love being reliable but I hate being relied on. I say that because there’s always gonna be someone with greater experience & knowledge on the topic but no one will have the initiative to get the shit done.
I kinda like how this new job praises you for the smallest things. I did a full shift on register with no backup during the second half. I corrected people’s orders when the back fucked it up. Customers had 20+ items yesterday taking advantage of the 60% off sale 😪
