I don’t know if they wore Prada or not but double shout-out for 2 fantastic presentations by two legendary and very stylish Women in Thoracic Oncology leaders at #ASCO26 plenary!

Great day for the UT Southwestern thoracic medical oncology team (David Gerber, Jill Boudreaux, Alex Lim, @ASridharMD@CynthiaXWei@SheenaBhallaMD ) today at the @LUNGevity HOPE Summit in Dallas! A privilege to interact with the community of lung cancer survivors and caregivers!
High quality study from @BenjaminBesseMD showing only 26% of pts need retreatment after getting 2 yrs pembro for NSCLC.
However, outcome for IO rechallenge was mixed, w/ many pts clearly not responding and dying. Much like CM-153 & w/ prior pooled report of Abreu-Rodriguez showing only 19-27% ORR with pembro re-challenge.
So still an unresolved question: whether 2-yr discontinuation is optimal for all patients?

Report @JTOonline on DLL3 expression in #EGFR NSCLC after #SCLC transformation. DLL3 positive in 11/12 patients. Two of these patients received tarlatamab (one with osimertinib) with clinical benefit. Need prospective data here!

Kudos to David Gerber and the E4512 team for their efforts towards improving outcomes in early-stage NSCLC. Even negative studies move the field forward.

Finally at #wclc25 plenary labor of love phase 3 trial led by Dr. David Gerber, no benefit from adj crizotinib in resected ALK pos lung cancer. Somewhat surprising but important results, despite lower cost crizotinib cannot be substituted effectively for adjuvant alectinib #LCSM
So grateful to be part of this amazing opportunity @IASLC#IASLCAcademy, truly outstanding mentors and co-mentees; so exciting and inspiring to see the research being done in #LCSM at #wclc2025! Looking forward to continuing the collaborations and new friendships!
