@elonmusk The day I believed that some people are born into hating other people was when I read a Reddit post by someone from Pakistan. They were very clear, & it was obvious to me that they weren’t a fake, & weren’t kidding. There are legitimately people who wish to end groups of people.

I’m a gay man and a psychiatrist.
I’ve watched the explosion of rapid-onset gender dysphoria cases, especially in teenage girls.
I’ve seen the desistance data, the comorbidities, the regret, and the sterilizing effects of blockers + cross-sex hormones.
And I have never supported medicalizing children. Not once. Never.
Kids cannot consent to infertility, loss of sexual function, or permanent alteration of healthy bodies.
“Affirmation” is not neutral care — it is an ideological intervention that locks many of them onto a medical pathway most would have grown out of.
Being gay does not require me to pretend that sex is a spectrum or that a distressed 13-year-old girl is actually a boy. It requires the opposite: protecting same-sex attracted and gender-nonconforming kids from a medical fad that pathologizes them.
I will not shut up.

@elonmusk I blame overworked parents, high prices, traffickers, thugs on drugs, & social media. Kids don’t have the will to study. There’s no hope for tomorrow with all that has been going on. Depression is up and hope is down. Why bother studying?

But yes, SAT & ACT are both good tools.

@elonmusk that sex is being endorsed as something devoid of real love, compassion & commitment. It’s been promoted as various ways of doing it, instead.

A book about LGBTQIA+ folks in love is not a bad thing at all. I welcome it. But when forced to be focused on graphic sex, it’s bad.

@elonmusk I believe this is in direct connection with trafficking organizations which seem to breed sex as a focal point. Seems they want kids to focus on sex a lot- all kinds of sex. Makes for more willing victims.

There’s nothing wrong with being gay, or trans. What’s wrong is ⬇️

@elonmusk Using opposite sex identity for the purpose of evading law, or luring people into bad situations with nefarious intent, gives those with real identity issues more issues. It’s unfortunate people will use any means necessary to do evil, at the cost of those who’ve truly suffered.
