Stumbled across the Journal of Royal Agricultural Society of England, 1958, in an antique shop.
The Belted Galloway champion that year was Roberton Iris, exhibitor Iain Hamilton of the Lullenden Herd. A herd that has continued to be prominent in the breed until very recently.
