@JimSpenceDundee@thecouriersport Well written. On the point of athleticism PSG bear Celtic 3-0 at Celtic Park years ago..I commented at the time on them being lithe, flexible, very strong and wiry with great first touch and an instinct for the next pass. Simple.
@JimSpenceDundee I attended a job interview when I was 18, it was going great then right at the end the interviewer asked me which school I went. Next line was. "Right, you don't really want this job do you". Interview ceased, no job.
In an interview Starmer said that defence was his number one priority. Then stabilising the economy was his number one priority. I didn’t see the full interview so am unsure as to how many number one priorities he has.
@rw2711 Oh I can't see anything untoward in that photo, to me it's about a strong personal relationship and respect. Dunfermline gave their all but came up against an opponent in Celtic who, even they would agree, were tostrong. But if you want to read something unsavoury in it.........
@Highland__paddy Aye and I remember loufly slagging off Dr Joe because he was starting him over Marc Burchill in the Rangers game we won 5-1. Red face on the bus after the game. Happy to be proved wrong!
@PaulJohnDykes@MarkGillespie9 Well said. I've never experienced such an online deluge of condemnation, vitriol and unsubstantiated accusations fuelled by, well those doing it would need to explain. The irrationality is worrying and my concern is that it may have real life consequences.
@JamesMelville I'm unclear how you think it wasn't a penalty? Would you have the same view if that was a Hearts player crossing the ball and a Celtic players defending it? Honestly?
@JimSpenceDundee To me looking at the extensive online visual evidence that the players hand was between the ball and his forehead on impact and that he also put an elbow into the Celtic players neck. Objectively, in my opinion it was a penalty. I feel my integrity is intact.
@tirnaog_09 I remember being on the terracing right beside the track at Shawfield and Danny made a full blooded challenge right in front of me. The noise of the tackle! And in a heartbeat he was shooting up the pitch with the ball. Fabulous player and man.
