A Kannada comedy show that depicted Lord Krishna in poor taste had to taste the law a few months ago.

Karnataka’s previous Home Minister @DrParameshwara at least understood the responsibilities of the office, unlike the utterly useless incumbent.

@NarendraGoswami State administration should take strict action against these conversion gangs..😠

[S A @Shef_Chandra]

@Lakshmi_D_N She never continued with Sanatan Dharma.. it is more convenient to mock and abuse Hinduism since she hasn’t formally converted .

[S A @Shef_Chandra]

@VivekGu62710648 @JakeTbird These comedians don’t have any intend to know about Hinduism . They know it’s safe to mock Hindu beliefs to make money and absolutely no Khatra of getting beheaded 😄

[Narendra Goswami @NarendraGoswami]

CONVERSION IS A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT. FORCE IS A CRIMINAL ACT. THE MOB DOES NOT GET A VETO.

A viral video alleges the religious conversion of over 500 Hindus at a Hyatt hotel in Janakpuri, Delhi. Some who raised objections were allegedly assaulted. The Delhi Police has been tagged. The facts remain unverified. But the legal framework is not.

Article 25(1) guarantees to all persons the freedom of conscience and the right freely to profess, practise and propagate religion. The Supreme Court in Rev. Stanislaus v. State of Madhya Pradesh (1977) held that the word "propagate" does not include a right to convert another person to one's own religion. Conversion is a choice. It is not a crime.

The Constitution was shaped for the common man. The common man's conscience is his own. Article 25 protects the individual's right to change his faith as much as it protects his right to keep it. Delhi has no anti-conversion law. Twelve states do. Delhi does not. That is the constitutional reality.

The courtroom is the last refuge of the individual against the collective. The mob that "raised objections" and allegedly assaulted people is not enforcing the law. It is enforcing its will. IPC Section 295A punishes deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings—not the act of conversion itself. Section 153A punishes promoting enmity between religious groups—not the exercise of constitutional rights.

The crowd demands uniformity: "Do everything as we do, or you are an outcast." The crowd that objects to conversion is not defending religion. It is defending conformity.

The Constitution does not permit the mob to veto a citizen's conscience. If coercion, fraud, or assault occurred, the Delhi Police must act under the law. If it did not, the law protects the right to convert. Either way, the answer is the same: due process, not the mob.

@Ridhu417Sharma This should be stopped by the administration with immediate effect.😠

[MULTIVERSE @dalit_bha]

She is Arunima from Kerala, a solo traveller with 1.2 million Instagram followers. She believed Islamic countries were very peaceful and felt safe in a burqa. She travelled to Afghanistan and was detained for roaming freely as a woman.

Who helped her? Not Kerala’s Islamic circles, not leftist leaders, not Saudi habibis, and not even the Congress government. A BJP leader hated by many in Kerala..Suresh Gopi, helped her, and the Centre arranged everything. The Indian Embassy booked her ticket free of cost. Taxpayers’ money was spent on her so-called freedom.

She was still in a hijab at Kabul airport and on the flight. That is the level of secularism. even after facing Islamic laws.
