@whorememberspod If it hadn't been for Nick Cotton in EastEnders already making the nickname Nasty Nick popular, maybe Nick Bateman would have had a less dramatic nickname. Looking back now, writing some names and influencing votes seems quite small really!
@tufty_club Which former blades players do you still look out for and are glad when they do well (e.g. Dean Henderson), and which if any do you hope they're doing badly?
@whorememberspod@PaulGHernandez Great podcast, but Henry's Cat, Ghostbusters and Penny Crayon are way too high!
No Scooby Doo, or Hanna-Barbera cartoons? Anything with Muttley in was great! Flintstones, Jetsons, Dogtanian, Godzilla (and Godzuki), G-Force, D&D all contenders, some 60s/70s but aired here in 80s.
@Panchero A bit of something for everyone here, most of the various Top of the Pops theme tunes over the years, most notably Whole Lotta Love, Yellow Pearl and The Wizard...

@Panchero Could have picked a number of BBC Sport themes, but went for Grandstand - before live football on TV changed everything, this was the goto sports show, bringing together action from a range of sports...and a great tune too.

@Panchero Thunderbirds opening sequence is hard to beat - the countdown, then the first burst of music, then the main tune...still sounds perfect today!

@whorememberspod good to hear the TV theme tunes episode again! Maybe you should do a 2026 version that includes theme tunes from any source, and a top ten from the podcast listeners? Dogtanian, Steptoe, most BBC Sports themes, Walking Dead, hundreds of great themes!
@whorememberspod For 80s cartoons: Dungeons & Dragons, Dogtanian, Danger Mouse, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, He-Man, Transformers and Thunder cats were all great. Defenders of the Earth, Pole Position and Willy Fog all underrated, and Godzilla and G-Force (late 70s that were aired in 80s here).
@whorememberspod Never seen that Liverpool phone shop clip before, was convinced it was a lad! Fenton, Jackie Weaver and Ronnie Pickering are all great clips. ๐
@KopFinest Great to see Oli and John Egan promoted, both who gave it everything for the blades...how we could have done with Egan's calm head this season!
@craigyjones17 A combination of both - being able to bring in Championship quality players made a big difference, but they also need to put the work in.
@Tim_Draper @bijolandendall Why would Chansiri give up his claim after losing many millions failing to keep the club afloat for years, and after years of vile abuse to him and his family from the fan base? Storch group could easily pay him off and get on with it, but they just want a cheap deal.
@_joshchapman98 Season is already over, he's trying out players in the squad to see whether there is anything to work with next season or whether to move them on?
It is odd for the blades to have five games left and not be either in a promotion or relegation situation, unusual in recent years.
