Call we “woke” if that’s your thing but I don’t see how having ovaries prevents you from having and offering a coherent opinion on the game.

Plenty of male pundits and co-commentators spout utter bollocks despite having played at the highest level for 10-15 years. If you’re writing off the opinions of every woman because they haven’t played at the “highest level” you’re also suggesting that every fan, male or female also hasn’t got a clue what they’re talking about, which is both incorrect and a hill that Barton wouldn’t feel anywhere as comfortable making such a big stand.
