My first encounter fit make me hate the country not just the police. I went out to buy snacks from Aboki at night my family didn’t know I left the house. Na so dem pack me join older men, I was 16 years old then. my parents almost ran mad when area people told them police picked their gentle son.

That experience shaped me to hate and be disrespectful to policemen at any given opportunity because I became bolder and more daring as they already made me see the inside of a cell for no good reason.

All that changed now, with growth and maturity, I was able to see that the problem is more of a personality thing. An average Nigerian, not just a policeman, will take advantage of the next man as long as there will be little or no resistance, they care less about the consequences .

Make God make us bigger, you will still have to work with these same police when you start pulling off huge legitimate business deals, you will need the state security to protect your interests. That’s the reason anyone with a bright future has to be objective in calling them out, and not generalize.

That’s a lazy research. you could have followed through with the investigation to get good evidence of extortion to prove your point, otherwise you get yourself in trouble for trying to do the right thing the wrong way.
