Before Natembea , Jack Wamboka ,Osotsi and Orengo ;this thing was working well.
It is not late, we need to go back there .
We can not afford to lose this war of our generation.
All past three liberation won. We can not be the only generation that lost.
We must go back to tribeless @HEBabuOwino@edwinsifuna
Truth be told, @HEBabuOwino has done his best. Has worked tirelessly so take the ODM rebellion aka Linda Mwananchi to the people. Has won admirers for his courage. But he has to be allowed to pursue his agenda too, and navigate the demographic dynamics of Nairobi's Governor race
I have never spoken to Edwin Sifuna in person
To me, he was just an eloquent mouthpiece of opposition like many before him
Until he stood in the senate to ask, “WHERE IS AOKO” when Ruto and his thugs were after me
Nikampenda! Coz even my MP, my Senator, Woman Rep or GOVERNOR did not give a shit whether I am murdered
They were waiting kuleta mchango mazishi
Babu Owino on the other hand, our paths crossed during DJ Evolve issue. When the world was vilifying him
I saw a man who had made an egregious mistake and as all of us err, was repentant and ready to atone
We have remained friends since. When it was I in trouble, when I could not post bail ya 100k
Son of Nyalenda showed up. We speak. We share. We fight. We differ. We laugh. We love each other. We are siblings now
He knows my parents. I know his family
When Raila died, Orengo and Babu held the first meeting. Then subsequent meetings roped in Sifuna
Agenda was , there is a lacuna and Ruto is rushing to fill it. At the detriment of Luos
Then they decided no, this is bigger than Luo, it is those left behind by Raila across divide
When I saw them together, karibu niseme “bye Matiang’i”, I am now home
But Doc is my second dad. On his cross I die
Then it morphed to… National thing
I refuse to get into the in-house war btwn Ongili and Sifuna for the simple reason that it benefits one person- Ruto
It is IDIOTIC. Odious. Pathetic. Unwarranted.
I pray we don’t get to choose sides, I will choose Babu. Then what? Wewe you choose Sifuna, then?
Linda strength lies in their unity and mutual respect
Before you open your stinking mouth, know that these two staying together is our hope
If we joke with that, Ruto tawala tena BAS!

ON THE BRUTAL DEATH OF THE YOUNG ALBERT OJWANG:
The Kenyan Constitution and our Criminal Justice System have a framework for dealing with any offence.
There is no offence in Kenya punishable by extrajudicial killing as we keep witnessing from state security institutions.
The police are the providers of security to Kenyans and should not be condoned as the biggest source of insecurity and danger to young people.
We demand that the IG of Police address Kenyans more comprehensively on:
1. What specific publication did Albert Ojwang make, and what criminal offence did it amount to?
2. Homa Bay has police stations and courts with competent jurisdiction. Why was it necessary to transport Albert Ojwang more than 400 km away from his home after arrest?
3. What nature of injury did Albert Ojwang inflict on himself that led to his death? Are there fellow inmates who witnessed these self-inflicted injuries?
As Kenyans,
4. We want an impartial pathologist to witness an independent post-mortem procedure to reveal what manner of injuries caused the death of this young man.
5. In the meantime, we want IPOA to move in quickly with a robust investigation on the DCI Officers and the OCPD and OCS of both Mawego (Homa Bay) and Nairobi Central Police Stations on the circumstances of arrest and death of Albert Ojwang.
Kenyans are calling for a proper response from the IG of Police and the DCI on whether the National Police Service is the protector or killer of our fellow citizens.
I ask Leaders to lead Kenyans in demanding justice for Albert Ojwang, and I will be adding a strong voice in all ways possible to this quest for justice.
I believe that a vast majority of Kenyan police officers are doing the right job, and we can not allow a few rogues to misuse National Security instruments to terrorise innocent citizens. #JusticeForAlbertOjwang
More updates to follow.
Signed:
Hon Babu Owino
MP EMBAKASI EAST CONSTITUENCY.
All the Police and/DCI officers who took Albert Ojwang’s Life MUST be charged with Murder. Police must protect life not take it. #JusticeForAlbertOjwang
SAMIA SULUHU IS DRIVING A WEDGE BETWEEN KENYA AND TANZANIA:
Kenyans are shocked that a whole National Parliament of Tanzania and a huge chunk of their Nation's Executive have trooped too low to engage in juvenile rants that demean and castigate a good neighbour like Kenya.
How can it be that patriotic unarmed Kenyans who cross into a neighbouring country can be arrested, held incommunicado, tortured and deported by a nation with whom we share a National language and whose people and ours overlap in origin, decent and culture more than 60%?
It is quite saddening to see the artificial war being created between Kenya and Tanzania by people who do not appreciate the history of this region:
1. Leaders come and go, but nations remain. The long cherished friendship between Tanzania and Kenya and their people should not be put to unnecessary test for the sake of one or two individuals.
2. We all agree that the boundaries between all African countries were drawn arbitrarily by the colonialists. Kenyans and Tanzanians are one people and should not be divided. If the colonialists didn't succeed, no current leaders will.
3. Regions of the world are coming together to form viable economic blocs. Whether it’s the BRICS, G20 or G7. Good relations are the root of peace, stability and prosperity.
What's wrong with us Africans? How do we build the East African Community to resolve the violent conflicts in Somalia, South Sudan, DRC, and our economic problems if we are engaged in petty bickering?
4. We all appreciate that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We do not accept the draconian heavy-handed approach against opposition politicians in Tanzania.
In the twenty-first century, those who seek to govern must seek the consent of the people through persuasion, not coercion. They should get into office through the ballot and not the bullet.
President Samia Suluhu should embrace her opposition counterparts and stop persecuting her opponents.
Tanzania as a nation has now grown way beyond single party dictatorship, and it is shocking that individual leaders remain stuck in a past that's no longer viable.
We call upon the leaders of the East African Community, IGAD and the AU to engage in meaningful dialogue that will deescalate any unnecessary tensions between the citizens of our region for the sake of international security, peace and effective mobility of people and goods across our borders. We call for the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms of opposition politicians in Tanzania.
Signed
