Been holding and mentioning $MONEY for some time now, but never shared my thesis.
So here it is:

I feel like they did something really unique to stablecoins, and very in-line with the current meta.

Until now, stablecoins like USDC and USDT were backed mostly by US Treasuries and cash held by the issuer.

The yield on those reserves? It goes to Circle and Tether. You only get a dollar that sits still.

What if your dollar was backed by the S&P 500, and the upside stayed with you?

That's what Own is building.

Deposit eSPY (a token tracking the S&P 500, backed 1:1 by real tokenized stock in a protocol-owned reserve). Mint eUSD against it at 150% collateral. Keep every bit of upside on your stocks while you spend, trade, or farm with the dollars.

Important, the peg isn't just a promise. Any holder can redeem 1 eUSD for exactly $1 of eSPY.
