Let’s revisit this in 2-3 years.
One thing is for sure, this turn of events has sown a seed of discord and animosity between IMG and UKG camps on a scale that we are yet to fully appreciate.

Current stance: Let’s not only prioritise UKG, but also make IMGs work 5 years in the NHS before “qualifying” to apply for training in “re-advert” rounds.
This is NOT exactly fair, and that is what Matt is talking about.
