I’m Mayowa Shekoni.
A Project Manager focused on delivering people-centred projects, with strong roots in health, social impact, and execution.
Over the years, I’ve worked across health programs, student leadership, events, capacity building, and community-focused initiatives.
This is the new wave of Christianity I’m talking about.
You spot one error, and you throw away the entire thing.
A preacher says one wrong thing, and you destroy his entire ministry.
One wrong act, and you delete his entire message playlist; past, present, and future.
As though you yourself are spotless.
We’ve lost the ability to point out an issue while still acknowledging the good. We’ve forgotten how to correct without condemning, disagree without dishonoring, and rebuke without rewriting a person’s entire legacy.
Yes, error should be addressed. Sin should not be excused. False doctrine should not be tolerated.
Maturity is being able to identify what is wrong without becoming blind to everything that is right.
The same grace we hope to receive when we fail is the grace we should be willing to extend when others do.
@_ikechukwu511@FavourYusuf1 This is exact what Selman was speaking against, but we are pretending like we don’t know the context of ‘attack’.
At best, you’re not a Christian.
Even in a sane and civil setting, this is not proper. Even worse for someone who identifies as a believer.
@Saint_Mickael@Ade__Amos You’re not being honest really.
We see attacks on this apps every now and then on men of God by people that also identified as Christians.
Attack is attack. We know the context.
I have not seen Selman rebuking constructive criticism, in fact he encourages it.
@ainabanks Aina for Christ, this is a very dishonest thing to do.
You bring a 29 seconds video just to run with a narrative that suits you. You know the context.
You know what you are doing.
@Mohsule_ Mr Moh, please what’s the correlation exactly?
You should present a logical and counter argument.
What’s your counter argument?
And who is your own shepherd as well?
That was a civil conversation, as the Philomath that you are, look at your response.
@bigbrutha_ ‘Holy men ? Point us to holy men that Jesus ‘attacked’.
Yes, this is part of what we go to listen.
Let’s listen to your own view too, start with the ‘Holy men’ that Jesus ‘attacked’.
Thank you, Bigbrutha
@Adenry10@GbolahanOK@kurdorPeter@trigottista I blocked Him a while ago.
You can share the screenshots where He proved with evidence that Papa Adeboye is the problem of the country or is adding corruption of the country...
I'll apologise to you and close this conversation.
@Adenry10@GbolahanOK@kurdorPeter There are many other religions in this country, how did you conclude the body of Christ is the problem of the county?
Yes, there are Christians in the public sectors. I don't see how that equates.
There are Christians who uphold the faith strongly in their political sectors.
