What a terrific week in Shelby County! This week our nation celebrates 250 years of independence. To mark the occasion, hundreds of employees gathered at Civic Plaza in Downtown Memphis. Shout out to the Division of Corrections for hosting a great event for our beloved employees.

Here are the latest Shelby County booking and bail setting numbers for the month of June 2026. Events remain on the rise from 2024 and 2025. The overflow of detainees from 201 Poplar being housed at the Division of Corrections also remains nearly tripled from last year.

The annual @CityOfMemphis vs. @ShelbyCoTN Softball Game is happening today, June 19, at AutoZone Park, and Team Shelby County is ready to take the field.

Come out for an evening of friendly competition, community spirit, and plenty of bragging rights. First pitch starts at 5:00 p.m., and your ticket also includes admission to the @memphisredbirds game later that evening.
