@MaijaVogel No most can not read it. My own two kids that are adults only know enough cursive for their signature. I really didn’t know they didn’t know cursive. I just assumed they were being taught.

@Jena4OK Amen to that! They do the same with the WIDA test for our ELLs. The teachers I work with do their jobs and teach (when not dealing with discipline issues) but we also can’t make students care if parents don’t care either.

@KREFsports We loved the tradition back when we still had our 5 seats in Section 19, Row 55 for 15+ years and then our seats were given to the opposing teams fans and we were moved and ended up with 4 seats in two entirely different rows and couldn’t sit with our family. Miss those seats.

@DMLaBar @CalltoActivism I teach Life Skills in 6th-8th grade. As they leave class everyday I say, “Make good choices. Do great things and do something kind for others.” If nothing else, I want my kiddos to learn and practice kindness, empathy and remember we are all HUMAN and we need to care for others.

@JamesTate121 That is not a reason to keep a child from coming to school. It doesn’t affect the learning or teaching from happening in the classroom. How does him taking off his shoes hurt anyone? Some people have too much time on their hands to let a shoeless kid be their biggest worry.

@jacobrosecrants I am visiting my daughter in NYC and we went to an “OU” bar to watch the game. It was amazing! After we won there were hugs, jumping up and down, high-fives, screaming, dancing….BEST game I have ever seen. It felt like we won the National Championship!

@jamidcole He says their curriculum “white washes” Chinese history, yet that is what he is pushing here in Oklahoma schools and wants it to be in ALL schools in the nation. Just how many times did his mom drop him on his head as a baby?

@OKSTProbs @coachcolin_osu @PickloTrinity I’m a Sooner fan, but I ALWAYS cheer for OSU when we are not playing them. If I go to an OSU sports event where they are playing some other team, I wear something that has OSU on it or wear orange or black. I will continue to support OSU when OU goes to the SEC.
