This is the house of woe and pain
I'm not staying, I will break the chains
The flames may rise, the torture never ends
But this is where I will begin again

I have nothing against YB. I don’t even know him so it would be ridiculous for me or anyone in my position to take a stance on something like that. I’m speaking pretty directly about something I’ve seen for years which is the uninformed mainstream gifting us in the rock scene with who our new savior is because most of them wrongly believe we need saving. Most mainstream music media believe rock died 25 years ago and it’s just patently false.
Honestly I don’t care about this as all, I was asked about this a month ago in an interview but I’m not invested in this topic. I am however passionate about the false narrative that rock isn’t in a good place. DWP fests are bigger than ever and that’s with modern rock and metal bands (MCR, BMTH) headlining this year not exclusively heritage acts or 70’s rock nostalgia acts. We don’t need to bow down to our elders at all times out of some misguided deferential bs. Rock is alive and kicking ass.
Thank you so much to everyone who has picked up a copy, streamed, or helped spread the word about VINDICATE. We love you! 🦇🖤

Ok so far we’ve done Pittsburgh, Sonic Temple and Detroit. Tomorrow is the last show of our own mini BVB tour in Indianapolis. And I have to say… Detroit may have been my favorite BVB show ever. Idk. Something special going on there. Been having so much fun! 🤘🏻
To the weather gods in charge of Sonic Temple festival grounds:
Please be nice. You can stop messing with us & clear up the skies so we can go inside and enjoy our day.
I did not get here on less than 3 hours of sleep to see BVB only to sit in the car seeking shelter all day.
Wish I could make it but Ali & I will be listening to it when she arrives here for a visit 2 days after these listening parties take place. Soon after we will embark k on our Vindicate mini tour. 4 shows in 5 days in 4 different states. Enjoy the hometown listening party !! 🖤
You know that the support for Black Veil Brides in Andy’s hometown, where the band was formed 20 years ago, has never been great. However, living here, I know that the band does have some really awesome fans and I want to remind anyone who is in Cincinnati, or within a reasonable driving distance, that a listening party for BVB’s Vindicate album will be taking place this Thursday, May 7, from 6:00-8:00 at Alien Records in Over The Rhine. It would be wonderful to see BVB fans (or just hard rock music fans) from Andy’s home town show up to celebrate the release of what many are already calling the Album of the Year in rock music. The link to Alien Records is below. Feel free to call them if they are not advertising it. This town tends to love boy bands and reality TV show celebrities much more than homegrown rock musicians who went on to great careers. https://t.co/DzljEwwmyS
