@snufflewort Stage 4 in Dec 2018 total of 6 round, trial of immunotherapy and then Lynparza.
I lost my hair, got a wig. It was too hot and heavy. Lots of soft beanies.
No reoccurrences coming up on 5years since end of treatment.
My advice: Dont prepare to die, Go Live …best you can💖

@GuidanceDevine @MelissaAReed Been in recovery since 11/11/14 . Sir you’re the exact opposite of ANYONE that I would have reached out to in recovery. The Big Book says we don’t get to say who is or isn’t an alcholic, how in the actual f*ck do you get to say if she needs a therapist? Go find your sponsor.

@realdocv Many years ago a couple’s therapist told me I was wrong/‘withholding love’ after I wasn’t willing to hold his hand or sleep in the same bed with him just weeks after he almost killed me. SHE was adamant that he was sorry & I was why weren’t moving forward.

@ThanksCancer After being dx w/ Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer 2018 and receiving a NED status from my new oncologist in Nov 2022, I asked him What do I do now? What do I do when everyone told me to plan to die? His answer was one word Live. Followed by therapy and a few others. This has been my year.

@lisao87 @ThanksCancer Ugh, a kick in the gut was right. Mostly because my doc didn’t explain that I wouldn’t be ringing it. I was stage 4 and on a research trial/Lynparza after. I just walked out after my last treatment thinking no one cared that I had made it through. A talk before would’ve helped

@HayleyReeseChow My grandson is now 11. He has autism when he was younger he had some speech delays and called me Scrama
Someone corrected him one day ,when he was older, and he said ´No, that’s my Scrama, not my Grandma.´🤣we still have no idea why 🤷🏻‍♀️💕

@ThanksCancer I diagnosed with a mass before Thanksgiving. Had my surgery beginning of Dec got my diagnosis and got to ruin everyone’s Christmas/New Year’s , then to top it off my first chemo was just day’s before my 50th birthday which is on Valentine’s Day.
I was winning all the way around.

@AugensteinWTOP Phenomenal news! I too am in a NED status since Aug after a Stage 4 diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer in Dec 2018.
My advice to avoid scaniety is to enjoy each and every day that you never expected to have and to LIVE 💕

@chroniclykat Diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in Dec 2018. NED since August 2021. My oncologist suggested therapy for all that has been lost & all the trauma I have gone through, it has been a good suggestion. It has provided peace and hope, so in love I’ll pass the suggestion on to you

@NewWiffNow Someone at a mtg described themselves as a chronic "stove toucher" took forever to figure it out. Did. Ended up w/brain cancer stayed sober 40yrs.
Talked about the promises. Kept me sober thru past 4yrs w/Stage 4.
I'll have 8yrs on 11/11.

@katievscancer @ThanksCancer This is the hardest part, trusting our docs and living. It's the most important/best advice my doc gave me when he gave my NED dx in Aug. This allows us fully enjoy life & build memories w/those we love. Sending you strength so you can continue these things no matter the outcome

great advice here.
1. Get 2nd opinion. You NEED to be an advocate for yourself & know you did everything.
2. LIVE. It's the best advice my ONC gave me.

Laugh,hug,eat...girl, Live!
