@shellyvitale It is extremely difficult to monitor when they are at home!! We use Google meets. I have actually had students share their screen with me as they are taking their test and keep their cameras turned on. It’s not fail proof but it helps!

@shellyvitale I've learned to accept the things I can't control this year as far as cheating goes. I put the kids in their own breakout room to allow them to ask questions w/o disturbing others and keep them from stressing about pace!

@DegenovaAmber My favorite interactive resources are Jamboard, PearDeck, Nearpod! They can all be used synchronously or asynchronously, which is super convenient for hybrid classes.

@shellyvitale And that includes our students! I think we sometimes forget about kids and shrug them off as having "no responsibilities", but that's just not true in this day and age. My kids are so busy outside of school doing amazing things, and I WANT to respect that!

Consistency is 🔑🔑🔑!! Universal Design for Learning works ONLY if the students know how to navigate a course, so information has to be easy to find! Being innovative is the goal, but don't change things up on the kids just to tout the variety of work in your course. #ITEC7481
