You have to abandon shame if you have real ambitions in life. Shame will cripple you before you ever have a chance at achieving anything. Leave your pride and your shame in the bin.
@korean_kaya man this is a comforting way to look at life, unfortunately my parents raised me to believe doing something I know is wrong will lead to an eternity of burning in hell with hot forks up my balls, so I choose to believe I am right even though I am objectively not.
the problem with ALL SaaS can be represented by the fact that I have spent over an hour looking for a tool to create & edit PDFs.
Every tool tries to charge $20/mo, makes me create an account, or just fails to have reasonable functionality.
@Sumskillz@cheebabe_ those numbers make NO sense. Unless your neighbour is actively growing a business or at the crux of attaining a high income job (north of 30k/mo), he's ngmi
light a fire. seriously.
You'll never overcome this unless you intentionally light a fire under yourself to force consistent action.
The only thing you need to decide is what "a fire" means to you. Is it leaving that comfort job you don't really need? Is it moving away from home? Is it publically declaring you'll do something and letting the fear of shame drive you?
You've already demonstrated that "waiting for things to change" doesn't work. You can try to force it on yourself but you're gambling on having the willpower to persist, which you've already shown a lack of.
So make it external.
light a fire.
