The number of Syrians forced to flee because of the fighting in Aleppo and beyond is growing rapidly and has now reached 150,000 in less than a week. And it will unfortunately very likely continue to rise.

The blankets, mattresses and water our partners and us are giving them may relieve their suffering momentarily. But it will not be enough.

They also urgently need shelter, basic services and livelihoods.

Many homes were damaged in yesterday's attack in 📍central #Odesa City, adding more suffering as it gets colder, especially for older people.

From morning to late night, aid workers provided food, hygiene supplies, repair materials and psychological support to affected people.

The @UN and partners delivered over 40 humanitarian convoys to front-line areas in #Ukraine this year.

Today, aid workers brought supplies for 1,300 people in one of the war-affected communities in the 📍Kherson Region.

This assistance is critical during winter.
