The ONLY reason I wanted Twitch Partner over 10 years ago was that I wanted to be able to have my own emotes. As an artist, it was so important to my creative journey.
I think we really need to start celebrating the steps that Twitch is taking to be inclusive and stop vehemently rejecting change. The reason that Twitch is the platform that is is today is because they were open to accepting different walks of streaming beyond just video games.
None of these changes diminish the accomplishments you've made, or the goals that you have yet to achieve. 💜
There seems to be a bit of negativity about this change but I think this is great honestly.
Twitch has a lot of tools that other streaming sites don't, and letting people learn & experiment with those without the need to grind up to affiliate seems cool?
📢 Starting today, Channel Points, emotes, subs, Bits, and badges are available to all streamers on Twitch - no Affiliate status required!
These tools help you build a community from day one 💜
