@TwitchSupport And the speedrunning community gets absolutely shafted AGAIN
Please for the love of god only do this to active accounts who have had the chance to head the warnings, we're about to lose a ton of speedrun history AGAIN because of this shit
This is a HUGE milestone. Before I started running the game, WR was a 1:59. A very well-optimised run for the route it used.
Now several years later and a ton of re-routing/strat application, Bok2 Any% has come down to 1:49, and can go to 1:48/1:47 potentially. Love this game.
@beige006956 This happens in boktai 1 and 2. We think that if two rooms are on the same map, it will remember your position within the door but if the two rooms are on separate maps it will put you into the center of the door. The Boktai 1 TAS uses that a lot.
Hello !
To celebrate the Boktai series' 20th anniversary, the speedrunning community will be doing a marathon this weekend on the @reallylongathon channel ! (July 15 ~ 16)

FFX now has a MRR/Gui skip, cutting out 10 to 25 minutes depending on the category.
Since skipping a boss and a bunch of fights has an impact on the route, the actual timesave is likely going to be lower.
So far the skip seems to be possible on every platform.
@Aariachang24@Ixoran I believe @BluesPancakes also has finished the tower and shared their savefiles.
A single run of the finished tower (F1-99) takes about 2 hours. Extrapolating that to the ~1600 floors that need to be finished in total, a full build takes more than 30 hours.
@Aariachang24 I actually didn't. Thanks to @Ixoran our community has savestates with a completed tower. Depending on what video/screenshot you've seen I've used either those savestates (on US) or my own ones where I edited my inventory to have all emblems (on JP).
