मैंने संसद में कहा था कि जिस तरह एकलव्य का अंगूठा कटवाया गया था उसी तरह पेपर लीक करवाकर युवाओं का अंगूठा काटा जाता है।

इसका ताज़ा उदाहरण बिहार है। BPSC अभ्यार्थी पेपर लीक के ख़िलाफ़ आवाज़ उठा रहे हैं और एग्जाम को रद्द करने की मांग कर रहे हैं।

लेकिन NDA की सरकार अपनी नाकामी को छुपाने के लिए उल्टा छात्रों पर ही लाठी चार्ज करवा रही है।

यह बेहद शर्मनाक और निंदनीय है। छात्रों के भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा। हम उनके साथ हैं और उन्हें न्याय दिलाने के लिए लड़ेंगे।

महिलाओं के साथ अतीत में बहुत गलत हुआ है , तब हमने कठोर कानून बनाएं कि हमारी माताओं और बहन���ं को न्याय मिल सके , लेकिन जब उन्हीं कानूनों का दुरुपयोग एक को न्याय दिलाने के लिए और दूसरे के साथ पूरा सिस्टम मिलकर अन्याय करने लगे तो हमें ही आवाज उठानी पड़ेगी,

#metoo जब चालू हुआ तब न जाने कितने फर्जी आरोप भी लगाए गए, लेकिन फेमिनिस्टों द्वारा बिलीव द विक्टिम का नारा दिया गया ,

जिसके साथ गलत हुआ है हमें उसके साथ खड़े होना चाहिए और बराबर के अधिकारों की बात उतनी ही तेजी के साथ होनी चाहिए , तब जाकर एक बराबर समाज का निर्माण होगा जहां सबके हितों और अधिकारों का सम्मान होगा ,

स्वाति जी कभी कमरे से बाहर निकलिए और चीजों को सड़क पर आकर समझने की कोशिश कीजिए चार पांच किताबें पढ़ने से और न्यूजरूम में कॉफी का मग लेकर दिस दैट बतियाने से पत्रकारिता नहीं होती है।

#WATCH | A 34-year-old deputy general manager of a private firm in Karnataka's Bengaluru, Atul Subash died by suicide on Monday, leaving behind a 24-page suicide note accusing his wife, her family members, and a judge of "explicit instigation for suicide, harassment, extortion, and corruption."

The victim's brother Bikas Kumar says, "Around 8 months after my brother's wife separated from him, she filed a divorce case and framed many charges against my brother and our entire family under different acts and sections. Every law in India is for women, and not for men - my brother fought for this but he left us... Even in his suicide notes, he wrote that - "if I win from the system, devote my mortal remains in Ganga otherwise in a gutter outside the court"... My brother did everything for her. Whatever has happened was unfortunate. If he had ever discussed it with me or our father - we would have helped him get out of this situation... I want to request the govt of India and the President - that justice must be done to my brother if he is with truth otherwise give me the proof to show that he is wrong. There should be a proper investigation against the judge who is named in my brother's suicide notes..."

Everybody knows for an Indian citizen the worst nightmare is dealing with the government. So everybody threatens him with the process. Not the penalty or the result. But they threaten you with the process. This is one of the biggest issues of living in India.

The victim's father, Pawan Kumar says, "...He (victim) had said to us that those in the mediation court do not work as per law, not even as per the rules of Supreme Court. He had to go to Jaunpur from Bengaluru at least 40 times. She (the deceased's wife) used to frame one charge after another. He must have been frustrated but never let us feel that. Suddenly, we received the information about the incident - he sent a mail to our younger son around 1 am. It's 100% true (the allegations of the deceased against his wife and her family)... We cannot express the level of tension that our son would have been in."
