"I-don't-want-to-make-a-commitment" Mitch transferred the solution to the #MeTrump problem to the courts. Good luck of getting justice with the 300 judges (and 3 SCOTUS) #MeTrump appointed.
Mitch is not a leader. He attempts to appease all of the several fractured (by #MeTrump) components of the GOP instead of taking a stand of his own and assert his leadership, in the direction of restoring a democratic America.
The trial has ended. #MeTrump with strut like a peacock, proclaiming his victory. Seven senators can hold their heads high in pride. They voted for a democratic America. May they rise to assume leadership in the GOP.
Saturday's vote is not about #MeTrump: Everybody has formed their opinion. The vote is about the integrity of the Senators: Whether they continue the enchantment of the Merlin-like, submissive spell of the resurrection's leader, or choose to preserve America's democracy.
Maybe this is a witch hunt: Only a witch could cast such a spell on "intelligent" legislators that would swoon them into total submission and devotion to #MeTrumpEmperor.
The biggest question to be answered in the current trial: Will the Repubs make a stand and vote for justice, thereby overriding their fear of retribution from a vindictive #MeTrump?
The #TrumpEmperor that wears no clothes, totally exposes his dishonesty, overwhelming ego, ineptness when a pandemic rages, complicity in a rebellion, and total disloyal to those who assist him. Yet, his party continues to bow to the #TrumpEmperor. Why?
While many in Russia fight for an American style democracy, there are those in America that back an American who favors a Russian -style dictatorship. Huh?
