@goud4utah@GovCox All of these folks need to go. Cox and Lee (and others) have shown they don’t care about the people of Utah and the resources we have. They want to sell it off to the highest bidders for private use. We’re already being told we have a water crisis so why add this to the problem?
@SenMikeLee I appreciate that you did not move this forward. I still do not agree that public lands should be sold, but I would much rather hear ideas and potential solutions to better manage our public lands. There are lots of ways to successfully manage for resources and recreation for all
@BasedMikeLee@elonmusk@SenMikeLee why have you not posted that you made updates to the public lands sell off initiative? What you are asking is reckless and a near sighted, short term fix. Public lands are not for sale. The public has spoken and told you NO. Why do you not listen to your constituents?
@SenMikeLee Lots of “great” things you’re posting about, but why are you not answering any of the questions and feedback you’re getting non stop from residents about you trying to sell off public lands? We’re all waiting…
@RepMikeKennedy@SenMikeLee Even worse than land being gone and unavailable for the public use, once water is gone it’s gone. We don’t have solutions for water shortages in the west and compounding the problem with trying to bring more homes and people into the mix seems irresponsible.
@RepMikeKennedy@SenMikeLee@SenMikeLee you’re talking about the housing shortages in the west. What about water shortages? Utah is already in drought again. Do you really think adding 100’s of thousands of homes is going to help? Some of the reservoirs were at record lows and are now just recovering. STOP!
@AGirdano@SenMikeLee@SenMikeLee is a corrupt politician. Top donors to Lee like Microsoft and Blackrock want to buy up all our lands and he’s ready to give it to them in a guise that the west needs more affordable housing. How about we start looking at land privately owned that we can build homes?
@TheCougChron@SenMikeLee Guess where people go every day to hike, bike, hunt, fish, rockhound, etc? Yup close to home (within 5 miles) I can literally drive from my home and have these opportunities to recreate every day that would be gone with @SenMikeLee ridiculous proposal. Lands near homes NOT 4 SALE
@BasedMikeLee This is an original argument, not paid, just an Utah resident telling you to stop trying to sell what already belongs to the American people. What you’re doing is trying to pay back your donors like Microsoft, Blackrock and your other real estate friends. Land is not for sale!
@SenMikeLee Senator you’re not listening. The American people have spoken. We don’t want any of our public lands for sale regardless of who is buying it. Stop selling what belongs to all of us, it’s not for sale, it never was and never should be.
Wow how crazy is this...please tell me we can be better...we have to be better. This is horrific to listen to these reporters blab about how great someone is and that they ”have worth” vs telling others to shut up and just play a game.
