The tragic accident during the homecoming festivities this afternoon is a stark reminder of how precious life is. The Florence community is special, and will rally around this young student athletes family and teammates during this time of tragedy. Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near the brokenhearted, and comforts those who are crushed in spirit.” Go home and hug your kids tonight, pray for the Florence community. In Florence, football is family.
