Imagine if every reply to any police officer going forward was “I don’t think you have mate”
Instead of “no comment” people could say “ I don’t think you have mate” 🙈🙈
Good night, lovely people and lovely dogs.
This is good night picture number 2000...
Thank you, everyone.
Sleep well and sweet dreams.
I am wishing you the very best for the tail end of your week.

Always fun to toss an early video of our sweet Ruby when we first rescued her.
Here she is after only about 10 days with us.
BRAT took her out of a home with a very bad man and before him, she lived in a very neglectful home that only fed her beans. 🤯
And yet so sweet ❤️🩹
I do not want to see patriots thrown in prison because they've had a beer or two, got fired up and acted stupid in the heat of the moment.
The state will make an example of you - they will show no mercy. Your life will be ruined.
Do not attack the police. Be smart. Stay calm.
I keep seeing posts and stories about rapist and child molesters today so I decided to come up with a solution.
Castration for rapists & child molesters is the right move. It’s two-fold:
1. It permanently (surgical) or effectively (chemical) prevents them from doing it again — studies show surgical castration drops sexual recidivism to 2-5% (vs. expected ~50% without it), with overall rates 0-10% across reviews. Chemical versions cut reoffending by up to 60% or from 52% to 28%.

2. It sets a brutal, public example that deters others — real consequences send a clear message, unlike revolving-door “rehab.”
As a trans woman, I stand with @jk_rowling 100% on protecting women's single-sex spaces. Biological sex is real, and women's safety, privacy, and fair opportunities matter. Self-ID policies have enabled real harms:
Karen White, a trans woman with a history of rape, was housed in a UK women's prison and sexually assaulted female inmates there.
At Wi Spa in LA, women and girls reported a biological male exposing himself in the women's changing area, sparking outrage over violated boundaries.
In sports, trans women like Lia Thomas — who competed as a man before transitioning — have dominated female categories, winning NCAA titles and displacing women from podiums, scholarships, and records due to male puberty advantages.
This isn't inclusion; it's erasure. Sex-based protections aren't bigotry — they're basic safeguarding. Thank you, JK, for your courage in defending women. #WomenAreWomen #ProtectWomensSpaces
Being biologically female means having a body that is observably organised to produce large gametes (eggs), as opposed to a body organised to produce small gametes (sperm). A woman is female whether her eggs have been fertilised or not. A man can never be female.
Out social lives of today are so much more complicated than it was for dogs a few years ago. They never had to deal with all this technology!

It is good that Restore are seen as "the enemy of populism". Populism is a spasm, not a politics.
Restore has a serious duty to save the nation. Populists are con-men.
This weekend the winter tires came off the van. Baby rottie Kenji came along so he could experience the smells, sights, and most importantly, the loud sounds in the shop. Dog training isn't just teaching the dog behaviors. It's also conditioning emotional responses to situations and stimuli. It's much easier to build positive associations when something potentially scary or stressful is first introduced than it is to counter condition negative emotions already established.
Rottweilers are typically pretty confident dogs but the hissing of the air tools, the chugging sound and vibration of the compressor, and the sudden hammering of the impact wrench are all suspicious and a bit startling. We don't want him to grow up to be 125 pounds of muscle that panics at loud noises so we strategically use food, play, and lots of affection to develop positive associations.
The impact tool makes its strange rapid fire noise for a few seconds, then as soon as it stops, food drops to the floor and Kenji immediately starts scarfing it down. He looks up quickly as the sound happens again, and this time before it even stops, more food falls to the floor. It only takes a few repetitions and as soon as he hears the noise, he looks up and is waiting for the food drop. The startling hammer sound has now become a predictor of a snack. Instead of it being scary, he views it as the sound of a mysterious food dispenser being activated. The same pattern can be done with a toy. The loud noise can become the predictor of the ball being tossed.
He's allowed to sniff the air compressor hose and gets treats and lots of cuddles from the man operating it. He sees the human handling it as it makes it's strange hissing noise. They don't show signs of fear or act strangely. He decides it's not a threat. By the time the van is done, he's happily laying on the floor getting a belly rub and isn't concerned about anything other than making sure if he hears the mysterious treat dispenser, he doesn't miss anything.
In situations like this he isn't asked to stay in a down or perform any other skills. If it was just a new environment we could build confidence by having him do tricks, position changes or other skills and rewarding him well. But the additional stressors of loud, unknown sounds changes our training approach. Asking him to do a behavior when he's likely to be startled by a strange sound is only setting him up for failure. Either he doesn't get the reward and that just adds to the stress, or he gets the treat and we're reinforcing that he doesn't need to do the behavior properly when asked. Instead we don't focus on skills and behaviors, and we focus on the emotions. Once he's more comfortable with noise, then we can ask for those behaviors, and he gets the "win" by earning rewards for doing them well, and those wins build his self confidence.
I probably should have told baby rottie Kenji that catching the floating fish toy from the doggy pool and putting it on the human's pillow was not the best idea.
But I didn't and now I'm getting told what a good girl I am for never traumatizing her with a fish. 🤭
