I was a juror for a civil case a few years ago, which was objectively much lower stakes, and this was sooo apparent (and beyond frustrating!). I can’t even imagine how much more infuriating it would be to deal with this while serving on a jury during a criminal trial
the Clancy case is proof that most of you would not make good jurors. it’s not your job as a juror to play morality police. you are strictly to examine the evidence presented in court & decide your verdict. not be the harbinger of what your opinion of justice is.
"What radicalized you?"
Watching my female relatives plan, cook, shop, decorate, clean, and organize for the holidays while the men just show up and watch TV the whole time.

Why go to therapy when you can put on a Jane Austen adaptation and experience healing by watching characters:
*embarrass themselves in front of their crush
*suffer through the mortifying ordeal of realizing they’ve caught feelings
*YEARN, pine
*hold hands in public, like sluts

PSA: Women don’t owe strange men anything for daring to exist in a public space. We don’t owe you a smile, niceness, or our attention because we wanted to have a drink at a bar or *god forbid* leave our houses for literally any reason
And then when you are “nice”, it’s these same guys who say “she was nice to me, so obviously she likes me” and go on to push boundaries with creepy (and often dangerous/criminal) behavior. Basically women just can’t win no matter what they do.
